I wanted to create a Valentine’s Day theme for this month, but something happened and I’m not in a romantic mood at all. I needed something that reminds me that I’m a woman, something that puts me in a positive mood every time I open my bullet journal and I also included a motivational quote.I’m not a flower kind of girl, but this time, I felt the need to include them because I think flowers are the symbols of femininity. Pink and gold are my feel-good colours, so I came up with a pink, gold and black colour scheme.
In the title page, I painted the flowers with some watercolour paint that I bought at Lidl and I drew the geometric pattern with a gold gel pen I ordered from Aliexpress. I added some details and the word “February” with fine liners (also from Aliexpress).
I realised that the traditional calendar just doesn’t work for me as it doesn’t give me enough space to jot down the important events and that kind of layout is also very time-consuming for me to create, so I came up with this two-page horizontal style with space for my goals, to-dos, blog and YouTube ideas.
I don’t want to go into a lot of explanation as far as my habit tracker page is concerned. You can see all the things I find important to track throughout the month.
I’m terrible at finances, so in July, I started my journey to financial consciousness. I track my incomes and expenses (broken into different categories, so I can see where I can save some more).
I started a gratitude log last month and oh my God, I can’t tell you how much it helped me mentally and emotionally. It is so nice to think back in the evening and find things I’m grateful for! On the right hand side, you can see the motivational quote I mentioned earlier.
Now let’s see the weekly spreads! I created some minimalistic and some more artistic ones.
That was it for this month. You can see the setup video here:
