What’s in our shoe boxes?

This year, we’re taking part in the Operation Christmas Child campaign. If you’re curious to know what I put in our shoe boxes, read this post.I filled two shoe boxes with presents. I made one of them for a girl aged 5-6. It contains the following items:

  • 1 prince Barbie doll + the tiara that came with it
  • 1 “packet” of LEGO (you can make a deer from it)
  • 1 bag of candy
  • 1 toothbrush with a princess on top
  • 1 tube of toothpaste for kids
  • 1 bar of soap
  • 1 notebook
  • 1 set of felt tip pens
  • a postcard from the family

I made the other box for a girl ages 8-9. It contains the following:

  • 1 fashion Barbie doll
  • the same kind of deer LEGO that I put in the first box
  • toothbrush (set of 2)
  • toothpaste
  • soap
  • candy
  • notebook
  • 1 box of colour pencils
  • 1 pencil with LEGO Friends pattern and a matching butterfly-shapes eraser that came with it
  • postcard from the family

I’d like to mention the third box. It wasn’t me who filled it, but my mother did it and it wasn’t made for a girl, but for a boy aged 5-6. It contains the following things:

  • 2 notebooks
  • 1 set of felt tip pens
  • 1 box of coloured pencils
  • soap
  • toothbrush
  • toothpaste
  • cocoa cookies
  • candy
  • Winnie the Pooh soft toy
  • a small firefighter LEGO kit
  • postcard from the family

Have you ever taken part in this campaign?
