Plaid is a popular pattern in the autumn. I usually wear it on my blouse, but this time, it found its way to my nails, too.
I used two of my favourite nail polishes for this nail art. It might look complicated, but it’s actually very easy to create if you have a trusty stamping plate and patience.
What I used:
- Rimmel 60 seconds nail polish, double decker red
- trend IT UP No. 1 nail polish, 230
- Moyra mini stamping plate, My Little Universe
- Moyra stamping polish, black
- Moyra top coat for stamping
- striping brush
I applied to coats of the trend IT UP polish on my thumb and little finger and two coats of the Rimmel polish on my other three fingers.
Once the nail polish was completely dry, I stamped the plaid image using the black stamping polish on the nails I had painted red. I sealed the image with some top coat for stamping and waited until the top coat was completely dry.
Then I took the card that I scraped the stamping polish off the plate with and dripped some trend IT UP polish on it. I dipped the striping brush in and painted gold lines on all of the plaid patterns.
I finished off the manicure with some high shine top coat on all of my nails.
